1. Operator and contact
“This is it. Good luck.” (the “Service”) is provided by Mikolaj Munchberg, ul. Smigielskiego 6C/1, 63-400 Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland (“we”, “us”).
General and legal contact: ask@thisisitgoodluck.com. Complaints and withdrawal notices may be sent to the same address.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern access to the website, daily puzzles, accounts, saved results, promotional codes and the paid “Everything” access. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
When creating an account, you accept these Terms by selecting the required checkbox and submitting the registration form. The same checkbox confirms that you have received and acknowledged the Privacy Policy. We record the date and the versions of both documents shown to you. You should save a copy. If you do not accept these Terms, do not create an account or make a purchase.
3. Technical requirements
You need a current web browser with JavaScript, cookies and secure HTTPS connections enabled, and an internet connection. Some puzzles may use audio, keyboard, pointer, touch or time-based interaction. Essential security checks may require communication with Cloudflare Turnstile. We aim to support current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers but cannot guarantee identical presentation on every device.
4. Free use and accounts
You may play puzzles made available without payment. An account allows progress, results and purchased access to be associated with you across supported sessions. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
Usernames must comply with the displayed format and must not impersonate another person, infringe rights, contain unlawful material or disrupt the Service. We may require a username change where reasonably necessary.
5. Game rules and fair use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You must not:
- attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections of the Service;
- automate puzzle actions, manipulate results or interfere with other users;
- obtain or provide unauthorised access to paid content, accounts, sessions, secrets or promotional codes;
- use the Service in breach of law or third-party rights.
Reasonable security limits may temporarily restrict repeated requests. We may suspend conduct that threatens the Service, while respecting applicable consumer rights.
6. Everything
“Everything” is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Solo puzzle archive and other Solo puzzles described on the purchase screen. There is no recurring subscription fee.
In the phrase “$4.99 once. Forever.”, “Forever” means that the purchased entitlement has no scheduled expiry while the purchaser's account and the Service continue to exist. It does not promise that the Service can operate literally without end. Any material discontinuation remains subject to mandatory consumer law and remedies.
The exact price, currency, included content and applicable taxes are displayed before the order is submitted in Stripe Checkout. The payment contract is formed when the user submits the paid order through Stripe and the payment is successfully confirmed. Access is normally granted automatically after confirmation.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details. Stripe may apply its own payment and fraud-prevention terms. A payment may be refused or delayed if it cannot be verified.
We maintain server-side payment records and rely on signed Stripe notifications to grant, refund, suspend or revoke paid access. A full refund, successful withdrawal or chargeback removes the paid entitlement associated with that payment. Access independently granted through a valid promotional code is treated separately.
8. Promotional codes
A promotional code may be subject to an expiry date, maximum number of uses, account restriction or campaign-specific condition. Unless expressly stated otherwise, codes have no cash value, cannot be sold and cannot be combined. We may disable codes obtained through fraud, unauthorised disclosure or technical abuse, without affecting access lawfully acquired through payment.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you are an EEA consumer, you may withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, send an unequivocal statement to ask@thisisitgoodluck.com. You may use the model form at the end of these Terms, but it is not mandatory. We will reimburse amounts due using the original payment method, unless another lawful method is agreed. Following withdrawal, paid access may be disabled.
We currently provide a full 14-day withdrawal option rather than asking the consumer to waive it for immediate digital access. Mandatory rights concerning non-conforming digital content or services apply independently of this withdrawal right.
10. Conformity and complaints
Consumers have statutory rights if digital content or a digital service does not conform to the contract. These rights cannot be excluded by these Terms. Depending on applicable law, remedies may include bringing the Service into conformity, a price reduction or termination and reimbursement.
Send a complaint to ask@thisisitgoodluck.com with enough information to identify the account or transaction and describe the problem. Do not email full payment-card details or passwords. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
11. Availability, updates and changes
We may maintain, secure and update the Service, including puzzles and technical requirements. Temporary interruptions may occur. We will not materially reduce paid functionality without a valid reason and any notice or remedy required by consumer law.
If we intend to discontinue the paid Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and any remedy required by mandatory law, taking account of the nature of the one-time purchase and the period for which the user had access.
12. Suspension and account closure
You may permanently delete your account from the profile by selecting Delete and confirming the warning. Deletion removes the account, profile, puzzle progress and history, promotional access and Everything entitlement. It cannot be undone, and deleted access or history will not be transferred to a later account.
Minimal payment, refund, chargeback, tax, anti-fraud, dispute and legal-claim records may remain for the period required or permitted by law. Where possible, retained records are no longer directly linked to the deleted account. Account deletion does not itself cancel a completed purchase, request a refund or constitute a withdrawal statement; those rights can be exercised separately under these Terms and applicable law.
We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary because of a material breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, refund or chargeback. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow the user to contact us. Suspension does not limit mandatory consumer remedies.
13. Intellectual property
The Service, puzzles, visual design, software, text, graphics, sounds and branding are protected by intellectual-property law. Except as allowed by mandatory law, these Terms grant only a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service. No ownership rights are transferred.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, we are not responsible for failures caused by the user's device or connection, unlawful third-party interference, or events outside our reasonable control. Any limitation is applied only to the extent permitted by the law applicable to the user.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical or functional reasons. The current version and effective date will be available here. A material change affecting an existing account or paid entitlement will be communicated in advance where required, and will not remove accrued consumer rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EEA, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence. You may use available consumer advice and alternative dispute-resolution bodies. The former EU ODR platform was discontinued in 2025 and is not referenced as an active complaint channel.
